The 7th Ed Chocolate Scorecard Is Coming: Our Biggest Edition Yet

We’re gearing up for the next edition of the Chocolate Scorecard, with the 7th edition set for release in May 2026. We’re also preparing an exciting Easter campaign this year—stay tuned for more details!

Right now, companies and retailers are busy completing their survey responses. The deadline for submissions is in March, after which our expert panel will begin the evaluation process. This process is incredibly rigorous; if you’re curious about how it works, you can explore last year’s Methodology. We’ll publish an updated version once the next edition is published.

For the upcoming 7th edition, our research follows the Human Research Ethics Committee guidelines of The University of Wollongong (Australia), with support from The Open University (UK). These guidelines ensure that our approach is honest, rigorous, transparent, respectful, and protective of participants.

This will be our biggest Chocolate Scorecard yet. We’ve expanded the number of invited companies and retailers to reflect the growing global importance of ethical cocoa sourcing.
